Camping @ Santa Cruz Island

Mother's Day weekend it was decided that we would go camping on Santa Cruz Island. The members of the merry band were Sarah Bacon (Bob), Shaun Walbridge, Helena Jackson (oops... I mean Bristow), James Stepp (JR), Christina Wilburn (C-tina), Andrew Pabst (Andy), Cristina Smoot (Smoot), Mark Hailwood (Hailwood), and Jennifer Chater (Jenn). The plan was to leave on Friday at noon, and come back on Sunday at about 6pm. Ultimatly, despite unexpected departures and the sheer amount of supplies brought, much fun was reported.

This page documents the travel to Ventura Harbor (our departure location), the boat ride over, and the arrival/setup of the campground.
